Pathfinders sponsors Teens Loving Christ. Our mission is geared toward helping young people discern subliminal messages behind the sounds and images of today�s culture.
Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls (Jeremiah 6:16).
Pathfinders are committed followers of Christ. Pathfinders has an outreach to young people, exposing popular destructive messages: astrology, material prosperity, disintegration of family values, self-worship, violence, abortion, depression, and abstinence.
Teens Loving Christ
Teens Loving Christ (TLC) is a teen organization founded in the spring of 2002 by Sis. Joan E. Massey, the Principal of Redemption Christian Academy and the Assistant Pastor of Redemption Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith. She was inspired to start this organization to counteract the declining character in today�s youth. Teens Loving Christ is designed for young people, junior high and upward.The Mission of TLC
- Create an environment that is godly and supportive of youth.
- Mentor youth who have chosen to commit to honoring God with their bodies.
- Provide alternative programs and activities to deter youth from the escalating immorality that is destroying today�s youth.
- Emphasize spiritual edification through fasting, the Word of God, and daily prayer.
- Educate youth through spiritual and social rap sessions.
